Real Wedding – Lisa and Martin
This real wedding is simply breathtaking. This work is by Sean Gallagher photography. Before we look at some of the pictures, let me tell you a little about this wedding!
After a very cheesy chat up line and sharing of curry chips, Lisa fell for Marty and his charm in Bundoran. However it was almost a year later before they had their first date in Limerick and here they are years later married! They were engaged in Rome….as the saying goes….when in Rome.
Preparations began with the destination; Donegal is so special to them both Harvey’s Point was the winner. I attended a wedding here myself and I must say, it is beautiful and the food is amazing.
The quickly organised all other suppliers and you will see who they hand picked below.
“The day itself like everyone tells you flies by from start to finish. We had the most incredible day, it was filled with so much love and laughter, we never wanted for anything on the day. I wish we could do it all again every day. We were so lucky with the weather we were given. It was a November wedding and we got some really amazing pics on Murvagh beach. Everything exceeded our expectations. Food was amazing, and the band kept the floor filled all night which is what we all wanted“.
Lisa & Marty
Lisa and Marty both love crisp sandwiches after a few drinks. Tayto sandwich packs were provided for everyone after the dancing ended which was a great hit with all the guests.
They wanted to have their own personal photo booth. Lisa’s sister Louise created a photo back drop for the couple. Lisa’s other sister Lorna had a polaroid camera which allowed them to create their own photo booth with Etsy props.
After the wedding they took some time out in Barcelona but this was just a mini-moon! A few months later they took a month off and visited Thailand, Vietnam and Bali……how unbelievable is that!
“If we were to do it again the thing we would do differently would be to not stress the week of the wedding because it all falls into place on the day.”
“Enjoy it all, plan as early as you can, know what you want, research your suppliers, don’t stress there is no point. Enjoy the day it’s all about you both and embrace it!”
