The Station House Hotel

The Station House Hotel is located in Kilmessan. It was once a train station and still has many of the original features. One of the key features of the Station House Hotel is its unrivaled setting. The hotel still sits on a retired train station grounds. The venue is surrounded by beautiful woodlands and gardens. The iconic ‘Turn Table’ is from the actual train station and is now the outdoor location for your civil ceremony. The original Signal Box, now the Signal Suite is the only one of its kind as it is now the bridal suite.

The Carriage Suite can only be described as unique. The shape of the room is the width and length of an actual train. What I love about this room is its warmth and character – full of ‘old world charm’. The Signal Restaurant is an award-winning restaurant and the food is sourced locally. The menu changes regularly to match the seasonal produce. There is also an option to have a small intimate wedding party in the Signal Restaurant.
