This is a feast for the eyes! If you are thinking of having a Boho style wedding then you need to read this. I was delighted when Pamela Matthews Hair and Make Up came to me to tell me she had a big idea. That big idea is this glorious shoot. Pamela and I have worked together on many editorial pieces but it’s normally me taking the creative lead and Pamela styling the beauty. I got to take a back seat and just help Pamela think through her vision so that she could get it down on paper and formalise a full styled shoot. She nailed it. She brought together Darren Byrne Photography, Boyne Hill House, MK Bridal, By Kyna, Stash.ie, Magic Moments and I introduced her to Laura from Wild Feather Event Styling. What I loved about Pamela’s vision was that she was crisp clear on what the end result needed to be.
“I’ve been naturally drawn to boho style for a long time and really wanted to challenge myself to deliver some strong looks but as we all know, boho isn’t defined by beauty alone, it is all about the aesthetics around the beauty including dress, decor, photography style and venue. I love editorial shoots and while the pandemic has culled so many weddings, I had an opportunity to deliver this shoot. I am normally way too busy to focus on this level of creativity so I must admit, I have embraced the breathing space!”
This was my first time working with Darren Byrne Photography and Videography. His attention to detail is superb and he looks at the world in a completely different way to the rest of us, i swear he see’s things that no one else can see and the evidence from this shoot is a testament to that!
Ok so I know you are dying to see the looks……brace yourself…….you’re in for a treat!
