EEEEEKKKKK it’s back!!!! I’m thrilled to be back hosting the I Do School at The Bride of The Year Show at the RDS on the 28th and 29th of January.
For so many of you, you’re pretty new to this whole wedding thing and may not be familiar with The Bride of The Year Show. Let me share a few bits of information with you.

So, this wedding show is the biggest and best in the country and takes place in the RDS meaning its so easy to get to.
At the show, you will be able to meet so many suppliers covering venues, catering, cakes, photography, dresses, videography, transport, honeymoons…. you name it there’s a supplier there for it. Also, there are some venues and planners from abroad exhibiting. By having this diversity in suppliers means that you can connect in one swoop. You can gather so much information and ask those all important questions.
In addition, there is a brilliant catwalk show. Within this show you have an amazing choreographed fashion show. You will get to see the latest bridal trends from some of the country’s best bridal boutiques. Don’t worry! Bridesmaids, Grooms and Mothers are covered too. Hosted by Andrea Hayes and Conor Clear, they make the perfect combo to get everyone tuned in for a spectacular show.
There are also an abundance of competitions & discounts over the weekend.
Now, where do I come in! Good question…. I host the I Do School upstairs in the suite. This is a lovely intimate event where I bring you through various aspects of wedding planning along with some of the wedding vendors exhibiting at the show.
The I Do School has two formats. On both morning schools, I bring you through the core planning items such as booking a venue, celebrant and even show case some new innovations that make for lovely additions to your wedding. The afternoon is focused on beauty and style and we meet with some of the wedding fashion exhibitors and of course Director of Beauty & Hair of the Catwalk Show, Keira Smyth.
You will be able to ask questions and chat with me after the show so make sure to come up and say hello.
