Many couples are opting to entertain their guests during their wedding meal. While this is not an essential item as most guests are chatting amongst themselves, eating and waiting for speeches, entertainment can definitely inject a great atmosphere and break the ice between guests. There’s a few things to bear in mind when sourcing ‘in-meal’ entertainment. Firstly, it’s important to let your venue know as there could be disruption to service. Once they are in the loop, they will be able to coordinate with chef and all other important parties. Another consideration is that guests will be seated so when choosing, you may want to visualise if you want them to remain seated and the entertainment is more about ambiance or do you want them up on their feet and have entertainment at the end of the meal to allow transition to the party.
Having been to at least one million weddings and through your recommendations, I have compiled a list of ideas for you to consider for your entertainment during your wedding meal.
