RDS Wedding Show – Wedding & Honeymoon Show

I recently attended the Wedding & Honeymoon Show at the RDS and it was a great day out. If you were on the hunt for wedding inspiration, you would have left with bags of it.

This year, i found that the suppliers had really upped their game and the very best in the wedding industry was there.

What i love about this fair is that there is never a shortage of deals. This read was a real feast for the eyes. I’ve been attending The Wedding & Honeymoon Show for 8 years, between being a vendor for the venues i looked after and last year as a bride. I actually found my wedding dress on display at this show!

My favourite part was seeing the new and quirky ideas. Some of those ideas included personalised beers from Hoppily Ever After Brew Co, innovative floral arrangements from Carraig flowers, the unbelievable masterpiece of a cake from NF Cakes, Lovin Letters – the lighty uppy letters, Central Events and Aloras Events amazing venue decor options, #foto – instagram your wedding and of course the portable Sheebeen!

The fashion show was really good and it highlighted some of the key looks and the dominating look is that vintage, elegant and sleek look.

This event runs twice a year and it will be on again in January and this time it’s known as ‘Bride of the Year Show’.

I would encourage anyone getting married to go and visit as you can literally plan your whole wedding under one roof! You have every supplier under the sun there including:
