Welcome to the wonderful real wedding of Leanne and Llyod. What a gorgeous couple!
They met while working in a hospital, Leanne is a dietician and Llyod a doctor. Three and a half years later, Llyod was smuggling a Vera Wang ring through customs as they headed off to New York where he popped the question.
The plane had just about landed on home soil and they got stuck in to planning the big day. Venues were top of the agenda and Galgorm Resort won hands down. Church was booked and everything was almost set!
Once the venue and date was set, they went through the to-do list with ease picking some of the best suppliers in the industry:
- Band: Catch 22
- Flowers: Petal Heaven
- Photographer: C2 Photography
- Videographer: Capture Videography
- Cake: Galgorm own suppliers and cake topper from Etsy
Next on the agenda was the all important dress. I think you will agree that Leannes dress is absolutely stunning. After 10 bridal shops visited, Leanne fell in love with this Suzanne Neville gown from Castle Couture. Her veil and headpiece was also supplied by them and it was part of the Jenny Peckham collection.
Now that the dress was sorted, on to the next part of the To-Do list!
- Bridesmaids Dresses: Verona Bridal
- Suits: Paul Costello Tux and Saville Row Dickie Bows and shirts
- Bridesmaids Gifts: Kate Spade Bangles with bow and a boxes of goodies including KG Shoes
- Hair: Atchinson Hair
- Make Up: Lisa Cookstown
- Shoes: Badgley Misckha
- Church Music: Hannah Ferguson
The day went without any glitches. Nerves were natuarlly present but once Leanne and Llyod were in full swing of saying their vows, they slowly went away. Leanne changed her dress for the evening reception. Her dress was from Cari’s Closet.
After the wedding they jetted off to Dubai for their Honeymoon. They stayed in a few hotels in Dubai. They highly recommended the Anantara Hotel on the palm. It’s a Thai themed hotel and the over water villa is amazing! They were due to go to Vegas and Mexico but due to the risks with the Zika virus, their plans were changed.
Parting advice from the bride:
“If I were to do it all again I would say don’t get stressed. It’s hard but it all falls in to place. Try and do as much as you can so you can enjoy the run up in the last week like I did. Also don’t have the hen too close to the wedding as I was pretty tired as had one the weekend before the wedding!
Pick a number for guests and stick with it as it can get out of control.
Spend the money on the wedding dress….you’re worth it.
Don’t leave bridesmaids alterations to last minute, take all labels of the shoes and the dresses as we had a dilemma the night before!”
Now for the pictures!
