It all started on a body board in Perth…..
Siobhan and Chris were enjoying the sun and sea in Perth when all of a sudden, Chris produced a dummy engagement ring tied to his shorts asking Siobhan to marry him. The rest is history!
Siobhan and Chris chose their nearest and dearest to support them through the planning and the big day.
Siobhan had best friends Francis and Michelle as her bridesmaids. Whilst Chris picked his brother Padraig good friend Danny. The whole family had a part to play with Siobhan’s brother Mark and cousin Kyle being the Ushers at the ceremony and Chris’ sisters Jennifer and Louise did some readings at the ceremony.
The ceremony was at Ardattin Church in Co Carlow, Stella Bass provided the music and it was simply stunning. The reception was in Carlow’s hidden gem; Ballykealey Manor Hotel in Ballon. This comes as one of Carlow’s most highly recommended wedding venues. ‘The Good Guys‘ played at the ceremony and were a massive hit followed by a sing-song in the residents bar later in the night!
Siobhan wore a dress from Angelique La Mont in Glasgow and Chris got his suit from Grooms Formal Wear in Kilkenny.
For honeymoon they took a cheeky week in Tenerife after as they had taken 6 week trip down the east coast of Australia and Thailand before Christmas.
