I fell in love with this venue when i walked through the doors about 2 years ago. I can see why so many people rave about it. Ashford Castle is probably one of the finest 5 star venues in Ireland and Europe. It attracts visitors from all corners of the world. It has all of the finest awards from across the globe.
Ashford Castle Weddings
When it comes to weddings, well it’s in one of Irelands most renowned castles, you are guaranteed stunning photos and will blow your guests away. They can take weddings from 20 to 164.
When you get married here, you can book exclusivity of the venue. This is one of the main selling points for some of the famous that have chosen here as their wedding venue. Lets call a spade a spade…..it doesn’t come cheap. For example to host a wedding of 160 guests with accommodation, food, drinks and all of the extra’s, prices start from €58,000. Don’t forget that this price includes all of the guest rooms.
Dining at Ashford Castle
For non-exclusive weddings, it doesn’t hit the pocket as hard. Prices range from €193 per guest. Some of the other 5 Star venues in Ireland average at apx €120-140. It really is a very special place and when you get there, it’s very hard to walk away, even though it is a high price.
It is located on over 300 acres but what is gorgeous about this location is that it sits beside a very quaint Cong, which is where the Quiet Man was filmed. It is so pretty and you can use this area for your wedding pictures as well as the grounds and actual castle.
