Statement Wedding Shoes

This is a topic that i am very passionate about! SHOES! If there is one thing that every bride MUST do this season, get a statement wedding shoe! I have asked brides over the years what was the most difficult thing to source for your wedding day and at least 8 out of 10 will say a nice pair of shoes. The whites and creams are hard to find and when you do find them….they are always a bit ‘Hick’. One of the key wedding trends this year is tea length dresses so the shoes are really on show. Here is a photo shoot that i did with Thomas Prior Hall in Dublin. You can see from the styling that the there is a vintage dress, a tea length dress and of course the statement red Louboutins.

Lets face it, not everyone can afford Louboutins but there are so many affordable alternatives out there. Brands such as Irregular choice offer an alternative, quirky style, Aldo, Office and Schuh will have something for everyone.

For something a little different i recently came a cross a french duo who hand-make their own shoes. You can get a pair commissioned for you and your style.
