Stephanie Allin is a British bridal designer based in Marylebone London. Her ranges are simply beautiful and are very classic. When I look at a Stephanie Allin dress I just see elegance and a very complementary fit. At the moment she has four key ranges plus if you go to her store in London and Wales, you can get a bespoke gown.
Her four collections are called:
- Bellissimo
- Love Letters
- Always and Forever
- Classic
Bellissimo Collection:
This is the newest range for 2017 and it is just beyond beautiful. It is Italian themed and super stylish. You will see many gowns boasting the 2017 trends that I spotted from New York and Barcelona Bridal Fashion Weeks. There are V Necks, Cut Outs, Mesh, 3D Flowers, Sleeves and non traditional colour tones. There is something for everyone within this range. My favourite has to be Vania and Flavia. The great thing about this range is that you can wear some of the gowns two ways as in a different top can be customised so you could have strings or a more full top.
Love Letters Collection:
The words ‘Love Letters’ really sums up this collection perfectly. It has dreamy, romantic and Jane Eyre-esque styles. I have to admit that I have fallen head over heel in love with this collection. I would actually get married again just to wear one of these gowns. In some of the dresses I can just imagine myself running through long grass in a gorgeous countryside location or in others they are very Audrey Hepburn and I want to roll my hair in to a Chignon and float around Paris reading poetry. They are just so feminine and pretty. If you look closely at the pictures on her site you will see that the cuts are really flattering and that there is something there for most shapes. My favourites are Lottie and Dominque.
Always and Forever:
This collection feels a little bit more adventurous and contemporary than the others. There is a really light feeling from this range. There is a few unusual styles which are guaranteed to stand out from the crowd. I love ‘After Midnight’ from this collection. I’m a sucker for a full skirt so this ticks that box. I love how she can make a really simple style look a million dollars!
Classic:
The Classic collection is timeless. You can see that Allin draws her inspiration from iconic looks from Garbo, Bardot, Loren to name but a few. They are so glamorous and luscious. There is even a jump suit version which is amazing! Take a look at my favourite classic styles below.
Stockists include: Myrtle Ivory in Dublin.
