Wedding Gifts For Parents Inspiration
You asked and You have all responded. A follower of Irish Wedding Blog came to me on Instagram to see if I could ask you all for ideas on Wedding Gifts for Parents of the bride or groom. When you’re caught up in the whirlwind of wedding planning – from picking the perfect spot to tie the knot to finding that dream dress – it’s easy to overlook a really special part of your big day: saying a little thank you to your folks. The intention is to be able to hand these gifts on the morning of the wedding. A lovely idea….budget permitting!
I call this one of those ‘fiddly jobs’ as they are the lower hanging fruit in the broader wedding planning process. The beauty of this gift shopping is that you can do it straight from the comfort of your sofa! In Ireland, where we hold family and traditions dear, giving a wee gift to your parents on your wedding day is a sweet way to show them just how much they mean to you. It doesn’t have to be something grand, just something that comes from the heart. It’s a simple yet touching way to say ‘thanks a million’ on one of the most important days of your life. Many offer flowers during the speeches but i’m seeing more and more couples wanting to give a Thank You gift on the morning of the wedding.
