The Headfort Arms Hotel is one of Ireland’s most established wedding venues. Located in the heart of Kells, The Headfort Arms is the definition of warmth, sophistication and hospitality. The Duff Family are the owner, operators of the hotel. I was very fortunate to attend a wedding here before and I can’t recommend it enough. I visited the venue very recently and you can read the review right here.

Couples can expect the very best in service. The Red Chapel is an Exclusive ceremony venue for Headfort Arms couples. The Red Chapel is a renovated convent chapel which now stands as a non-denominational destination for a wedding ceremony. Couples can have their ceremony, their way. If you prefer an outdoor, garden setting, you can avail of The Headfort Arm’s manicured garden. This garden is exclusive to couples for their day and they have a one wedding per day policy.
Following a lovely personal ceremony service, guest can enjoy a beverage including the Duff Family’s very own Kell’s Gin, in the garden or wedding pre-reception area. When the dinner bell chimes, you really need to brace yourselves. The food is superb and I can vouch for that. Your guests will not be disappointed.
The ballroom is beautifully decorated, it is elegant, spacious and offers couples a neutral background to layer some individual touches, or not at all.
Guests can enjoy an overnight stay in one of the tastefully appointed guest rooms. However, it really is all about the bride and groom! The bridal suite is a real treat. It has a lovely Georgian style but for me, the bathroom is the big feature. Couples can enjoy a jet-pool bath (with TV might I add!) along with hydro shower.
For those interested in a Day 2 ceremony, you can have it all within the grounds of the venue. Right next door there is a very special party area for couples.
This venue has it all, excellent family run service, beautiful venue, a great party and fantastic food.
