I love nothing more than finding a hidden gem in this beautiful wedding industry and Mizz Rio is just that, an absolute gem. An independent Irish bridal label challenging the status quo by offering bespoke, unique and unexpected bridal gowns.
Their motto….’We don’t dare to be different. We are different‘.
Located in North County Dublin, Mags offers a dedicated one to one service with each of her brides in her purpose-built, private studio.
There is no set style, you write the script for what YOU want. This isn’t about selecting whats in season at a particular time, it’s about you having the freedom to choose a look that you really want and that suits your shape, style and personality. In other-words, your dress is in your hands and Mags will guide you through each step of the design process.
“Inside each woman there is a fire. Sometimes through life that fire gets dampened down. We work to find it and light it up!! We work one to one with each bride on her vision and always listen to her voice and her choice in a zero pressure environment.”
There is a collection of alternative gowns to try on in the studio but there is a service to create your own look.
“We play with colour, florals and fabrics and show each bride what’s possible and let her own imagination take flight while guiding you through the process. We love to challenge what society believes as the norm for weddings and encourage each bride to move past outside opinions and focus entirely on what she wants, not what she ‘should’ do.”
The price points are keen, and each bride works with Mags and her team to stay in budget.
AND did I mention, you don’t have to go with a dress.. yes, suits, shorts, jumpsuits, slacks…..you name it, it’s not an issue. Just ask Kellie Harrington who worked with Mag’s for her cigarette pant look.
You can view some of the Mizz Rio style below but remember, if you don’t see it here, it doesn’t mean that it’s not possible so definitely reach out for a chat. Mags is an up and coming Irish bridal designer and definitely one to watch. She has big plans for her business for Ireland and beyond!
