Wedding Looks with Xpose
With wedding planning season approaching and of course the Wedding & Honeymoon Show in the RDS, it was very timely to showcase some pieces from the show and in particular, the I Do School which I will be hosting in the Minerva Suite. For tickets – click here.
The theme for the shoot was Traditional v On Trend.
We shot the scenes in the Intercontinental Hotel in Ballsbridge Dublin.
Our beautiful models are Bride- Teo and Mum – Anna Marie from First Options
My Dress – Debenhams
Traditional:
For our traditional looks, I went with a class bridal gown from House of Delphine. This is 100% ivory silk satin and is just a masterpiece. It has a gentle fishtail at the bottom and as we move our way up you will see delicate French lace sitting under the bust to the waist. This gives definition and actually gives you shape. The neckline is scooped out and the back also plunges. Ideal if you love to show off your back. I have complemented the look with Jenny Packham shoes and accessories from Debenhams.
Mum is dressed from head to toe in Debenhams. This dark blue/navy full length gown is from the debut collection. It is perfect for a black tie wedding and even for bridesmaids. You can match it with so many colours. So timeless and comfortable. The head piece is a metallic saucer hat and to complete the look, you will see a gorgeous metallic and floral clutch from Jenny Packham at Debenhams.
On Trend:
My ‘On Trend’ picks are out of this world.
Teo is wearing a Lazaro masterpiece from Padanee Bridal. This is an ivory number with a champagne shimmer. When you look up closely you will see a checkered mesh net over a cashmere chiffon trumpet skirt. The front is that all trending cut out bust which can also be filled in and the back is open. There are criss cross straps at the back and they add even more sparkle. The final touch is the floral appliques at the bottom and waistline.
Mum Anna Marie is stopping traffic in this look! This is the pink No 1 by Jenny Packham dress. I tried this one on in navy and it feels so lovely on. It has slinky material and has very tactful ruching across the stomach. It is flattering in all the right places. I love the diamante shoulders and sleeves as well. The hat is a two tone blush pink hat and this is matched with a nude shoe and white bag. All from Debenhams.
