It’s high time I put some groom style in one of my Xpose shoots and this time I delivered! I brought together 2 vintage coordinated styles; Hipster Boho v Hollywood Glamazons.
The looks featured will be showcased at the I Do School at the Wedding & Honeymoon Show which I shall be hosting this coming Saturday and Sunday, 7th & 8th of September. Tickets still available here!
We shot out at Roganstown Hotel & Golf as they have beautiful grounds and it’s a very classic venue.
Our First Look: Hipster Boho
Dress: Tiadora from Snowdrop Bridal Couture. This has a lace bodice which flows all the way down to the sleeves. You have piping at the waist which gives a separation for the floaty skirt made from English net. There’s a very simple train and a scooped out back. A gold shoe (our model Simona’s own) by Sylvia Heech.
Suit: Tangos: I’ve gone with a tweed brown, 3 piece suit. When you look up closely you’ve got speckles of orange and blue which has been complemented with our bright and vibrant tie. Brown shoes are matched.
Look 2: Hollywood Glam
Dress: Pronovias from DeStafford Bridal. This is a stunning crepe gown which feels like butter. It has a high neck with pearls and beads encrusted all the way around the neck line which falls over the shoulder and scoops all the way down the back. The back is a key feature which you can see from the pictures. A hair clip is added to finish the look.
Suit: Tux – Michael certainly wears this well. I’ve opted for a navy classic tux with black lapel to give a more modern edge. You can also get this jacket in velvet! Black shoes are matched as we have black in the lapel and there’s a semi slim leg trouser.
Car: Classic & Executive Cars – The look wouldn’t be complete without a Rolls Royce and the silver signature classic is the perfect match.
Hair: Rebecca Finegan from Hair Gallery Slane – Simona has the most beautiful hair and we needed to keep the look flexible between boho and Hollywood glam. Rebecca went with surf waves so they were nice and loose for scene one and then second look Rebecca scraped back the left side with a glam clip. A great option for someone wearing 2 dresses or looking to create 2 looks through their day.
Make Up: Bekka Sophia from Keira Smyth Hair- We also needed to keep the looks flexible to build up from natural to glam so Bekka went with a nice light brown lip and light brown eye make up. The second look is transformed by adding a red lip which is perfect against the Ivory Pronovias gown.
