I’m so thrilled to finally be able to share this with you now that Barnardos Bridal Rooms are back up and running post Covid 19. As many of you will know, I work closely with Barnardos Bridal Rooms as I really believe in what they do in store and in the community. They are the best kept secret in bridal.
With locations in Dun Laoghaire and Wexford, both boutiques are beautiful and to the standard of any boutique.
I worked with the Barnardos Bridal Room team alongside Roslyn and Anna from Couple Photography to bring this beautiful shoot set at Gormanstown College in Meath.
This is for their A/W 2020 collection. I wanted to showcase looks for a dramatic season whilst also showcasing versatility through using accessories to bring the looks through all seasons. The drama of Gormanstown College gives a Game of Thrones look too. It’s a really stunning location. Thanks to Roslyn for suggesting it!
All dresses stocked by Barnardos are brand new, donated straight from boutiques or design houses. All accessories are brand new too.
I was recently invited to visit one of Barnardos centres in Mulhuddart. I cannot articulate the amazing work the teams do. Every penny spent goes right back in to the causes so when you buy a dress with Barnardos, you’re not just getting a great brand new dress at a great price, but you are helping so many families and in particular children. You are buying ethically and sustainably.
Enjoy the looks! If you would like more details or to book an appointment with Barnardos Bridal, you can contact them right here.
The 6 core looks I chose were a blend of classical elegance with contemporary twists. You will see simple dresses that have been enhanced with some feature accessories and some that have beautiful back details which require very little accessories in addition.
