I’ve received so much feedback over the years and one main topic is all about Curvy Wedding Dresses. The main issue is finding boutiques that stock and not just stock BUT have samples in store for the appointment. I’ve heard from brides to be who are utterly disheartened and in some cases had terrible experiences. I hate to hear of anyone feeling like this and in particular at what should be such a happy time.

I reached out to many bridal boutiques across the country to verify if they stock plus size wedding dresses and have compiled a list based on what I have been sent. I really hope that this helps.
Before I jump right in to the list, Dreamy Curves shared some great information with me,
“Most advice is the same for all brides, curvy or not: do some research on styles, think about your budget, research the price of designers you like so you are prepared. Pick your entourage carefully, optimally bring one or two who will be kindly supportive and back your choice. A very important point is to start shopping about 12 months out, sometimes it takes more than one visit to decide. We need a minimum of 8 months, and although we do sell off the rail, leaving it late to shop limits your choice to whatever we have in a suitable size on the day. Lots of people wait till the last minute as they are trying to lose weight and miss their ordering window, but we can always allow for that when we order, or the dress can be taken in. Wear a proper bra for your appointment, nude or white
And finally, have an open mind, your bridal stylist knows their stock really well, and it’s worth trying a variety of styles, it’s not always what you imagine that suits you best, so often a bride ends up with something completely different.“
