One really great thing to come out of this crazy Covid 19 world is the creativity I’m seeing from wedding suppliers. This particular shoot is an absolute feast for the eyes.
A selection of suppliers came together to create this visual masterpiece. As some of you may know, I am a huge fan of The House of Delphine and have featured her work in some of my fashion shows and on Xpose before that. When you bring the delicacy of Delphine’s work with Holly and Willow, Magda Lukas, Lorraine Browne Hair, Annette O Brien Make Up and Barrow House Kerry….you will of course only get the very finest the industry has to offer.
The inspiration from this shoot centred around the natural setting at Barrow House where the sea almost kisses the door. Barrow House is the perfect backdrop for an intimate styled wedding. Magda captured the essence of shoot working with the natural light. With nature in mind, this shoot focused on sustainability through dramatic faux and dried flowers and the wild of Kerry. Many Small Places brought the authenticity of this look to a completion with their handmade Macrame backdrop for the ceremony.
When it came to the hair styling, Lorraine led the charge with a selection of soft natural looks complemented by her own collection of hair accessories which can be found in her new online shop. She used Martinsson King to give body, glow and texture. Annette O Brien Make Up Artist polished the look using blend of Charlotte Tilbury, So Sue Me and Mac. It is a light and natural look which brings a beautiful glow.
Carrie and the team in Holly and Willow brought the wow factor with their dramatic faux flowers which are firm favourite with brides across the globe at the moment. It’s amazing how flowers can set a tone for a wedding visual and you will see just what I mean with this piece. One of my favourite scenes is the cake and faux flowers setting. The cake is perfect for this look with the faux flowers. The cake was provided and styled by Ms Cup Cake Cork.
The finer details were the final strings to complete the look. Maria Elizabeth Designs added the unique details. Maria caught the attention of the wedding industry when she began creating personalised handwritten vows, on bridal bouquet ribbon made by The Botanical Dyer. Such a gorgeous keepsake from a wedding! She also provided the place settings. Jewellery was provided by John Ross Jewellery and each piece was from their exclusive collection in their Tralee store. John Ross is one of the finest and longest serving jewellers in Kerry and they have specialised in bridal jewellery since 1899! Now they ship worldwide too.
